hey all! it's been awhile since i updated! i was tired of seeing the ceeelaaaabraaation title... thought id spice things up! weve been back for over a month now and things are going great, alhamdulillah. were going to school soon, being involved, lots of great stuff. went to an interfaith dinner at my mosque today to commemorate the death or marla ruzicka, an activist who was killed by a roadside bomb in baghdad. it was very inspiting and uplifting. mashaAllah, her parents were so courageous and all smiles... subhanAllah. They lost their daughter so recently, yet there was not a trace of depression or sadness on their faces. It's like they were simply proud of their daughter and happy for her. And I loved the unity that we muslims had with all of the nonmuslims that came to our mosque. at my dinner table, i was the only muslim there and i had a great time with m group. they were soooo sweet and down to earth. many of them had traveled abroad to several different countries. they were from an interfaith peace coalition in palo alto. very cool people. im so tired, i need to go to sleep now!
