Slang

Well, well, what to report to you hungry masses hungering for an update from your fobby Lahori freinds? Oooh, oooh! I got an idea! I will translate American lingo that's hip with American youth into Urdu/Punjabi/Seraiki!

Dude: Yaar
What's up: Hal day, hal suna
Shut up: Chup kar ba
Hey!: Wanay!, Oye!
Cool: Fit
FOBby/Slutty: Cheap
Shit: Shiieett
Oh my God!: Hiy madday Allah!

That's all my brain can think of... ladies and gentlemen, you have just discovered my deepest, darkest secret: I really am not very knowledgeable in English-Urdu slang. Sorry to dissapoint y'all...

hmm. Maybe I'll adapt that slang into my daily language.. I mean, it can't be that hard to remember "yaar!" I'll say that instead of "yo" or "yola" or "hola" or whatever other things I say on aim :p Yaar! and Oye! Makes me think of the Yiddish "Oy veh!" :)

Is there a fast, simple way to say "bye" too? Simple=something I can easily remember given my horrible memory..
